The key factors are wall thickness and hole diameter. If the wall thickness is large and the hole diameter is small, a specialized drilling bit is required for processing. For drilling holes in large pipes, it’s possible to use a grinder first, followed by a rod-shaped grinding tool
In other words, it’s more difficult compared to carbon steel pipes?
That's right; stainless steel is relatively soft and not easy to polish
