Who has a shutdown and maintenance plan for the VCM unit? Please share it so everyone can take a look at it.
The maintenance plan varies from company to company; it is formulated based on the maintenance schedule and objectives.
Actually, the replacement plan for VCM units is easy to outline; it can be divided into processes: conversion, compression, and distillation. Conversion is achieved by blowing with nitrogen, which allows for complete displacement; the various stages of purification towers are washed using a water circulation system, and isolation and blocking measures must be taken in areas where welding is required. Compression is required to drain all the wastewater from the pipeline; otherwise, it will be difficult to achieve proper replacement. Distillation requires the use of a single unit for displacement, with steam and nitrogen being used together for purging; a large amount of steam is emitted from the outlet to ensure that no liquid monomer remains.
