Is a portable combustible gas detector the same as manual analysis for determining whether work involving fire can be carried out safely? Now, most companies use portable instruments for testing rather than sampling analysis; are the criteria the same?
I think sampling is fine; the instruments are more precise than manual methods. There must be no flammable gases. .
Portable alarms really tend to fail easily.
