I saw many drawings, with a low design temperature and a high design temperature indicated. Is there really a problem with writing it this way? How was it considered?
Low-temperature design temperature/High-temperature design temperature. That’s fine. The low-temperature design temperature is primarily determined by the selection of materials, while the high-temperature design temperature is mainly related to the choice of allowable stress in strength calculations. . .
It’s just a design temperature; it’s necessary to be able to function within the range from room temperature up to that specified design temperature.
It can be written this way: the low temperature refers to the lowest temperature that may be reached, while the high temperature is the design temperature under normal conditions.
So if the minimum design metal temperature appears in the diagram, does it still need to be specified as well?
If the technical data sheet specifies a minimum design metal temperature, is it still necessary to specify this low design temperature?
