Rotary flow meter in Cologne, installed horizontally. The rotameters I’ve come across before were all installed vertically; I’m not sure what the working principle is for those installed horizontally What is the specific structural formula? I need an expert to help me figure this out! ! !

The working principle is the same as that of vertical installation; only the internal structure is shaped in a Z-pattern. The fluid still flows vertically through the float, and overall it appears to be installed horizontally.

Horizontal-mounted rotameters are generally of larger size; in fact, certain modifications are made to their internal structure – the rotor still moves within a vertical range, but the inlets and outlets for the fluid are arranged horizontally, which facilitates installation in horizontal pipelines.
Kroni offers two types of horizontal rotameters: one is vertical with a spring, belonging to the H250 series, and the other is the H276 model. Product information can be downloaded from Kroni’s official website to learn more about them.
