Could some expert please help analyze why the EA-LWQ-25B turbine flow meter is showing a flow rate of only around 10 cubic meters per day, when under normal operating conditions it should have a flow rate of over 200 cubic meters per day? Note: There is a clear flow display during venting
The turbine is a mechanical component; it’s possible that the transmission mechanism isn’t properly lubricated. Try applying some specialized lubricant
It has a very small capacity, and there is no external interface for refueling
We have a turbine here for measuring biogas; it didn’t work properly at first, but after adding some clock oil, it worked well.
Check to see if the mechanical parts are stuck; if not, it might be that the flow rate is outside the measurement range. Otherwise, send it for inspection.
1. Check whether the actual flow rate under current operating conditions falls within the measurement range of the turbine flow meter. 2. For measuring natural gas, it is recommended to use oil-lubricated gas turbine flowmeters. 3. Dry gas turbine flowmeters that rely on oil-free lubrication experience a significant decline in performance after being used for some time; bearing wear leads to reduced accuracy, lower readings, and an increase in the minimum measurable flow rate (meaning that small flow rates that could be detected before may no longer be detectable). A gas turbine flow meter filled with lubricating oil reduces such bearing wear, extending the period during which its measurement performance is guaranteed.
