I have family members who have used the Bellelli and Coe Ω-ring heat exchangers, and I have a few questions.
What does an Ω-ring heat exchanger look like? Are there fixed-plate heat exchangers with compensating joints?
Yes, the shell without a compensation ring is simply Ω, serving as a compensation seal. The tube sheet and tube box are integrated, and the large flange on the tube box side is welded using a diaphragm welding method. It is a leak-free heat exchanger.
