The electromagnetic flowmeter normally operates at 12,000 M3, but this figure dropped to 8,000 M3 within one hour; it is an insert-type, split-type electromagnetic flowmeter. The medium is water! Regardless of the type of electromagnetic flowmeter, what is the reason behind the gradual decrease in flow rate in such flowmeters? I need everyone’s help. Flow meters can’t do much either with on-site instruments. Start the work order, ask the operator to create a bypass and see if the flow meter can be reset to zero.
First, check whether there are any fluctuations in the process medium and whether there are any interfering factors around the instrument; then observe how the instrument behaves. If it’s a problem with the instrument, try replacing it with another one to see...
