This post was last edited by valiantman on 2015-10-24 at 14:13. As the title suggests, which module should be used to simulate the reactor? RStoic, RYield, REquil, RGibbs, RPlug or something else? What should be taken into account when using Aspen Plus software to simulate the methanation process in coal-to-natural gas production? What information needs to be prepared in advance, or what conditions are required in order to carry out such simulation? Please give me your advice! O(∩_∩)O Thank you
Answer your own question: I used the RE model for the reactor. In reality, there is a temperature rise during the reaction, but after my calculations, the outlet temperature is the same as the inlet temperature. What additional settings are needed to determine this temperature rise? ? ?
Specify the conversion rate using Rstoic.
Depending on your available resources, if you have composition analysis results, you can use rstoic or ryield to set the composition of reactions or products. It’s simpler to consider only the main reaction using rstoic. Typically, the methanation conversion rate is close to 100%.
I ran into problems again with the Req reaction; the operation showed an error stating that there was an imbalance, but I can’t see where the imbalance lies. Can someone help me check it? My simulation file is at http://pan.baidu.com/s/1dDAZ1k9
