After graduating, I came to Beijing alone and began my life as a migrant in the city. It’s nice to go on video calls and chat every day as well. Just as I was full of expectations for the future, the company’s management told me to pack up and leave right away. I will always remember that day, November 15th – the first time in my life that I lost my job. Looking back now, I really should be grateful. When I first started working there, the company provided quite systematic training, which enabled me to grasp the concept of engineering in a relatively short period of time and helped me understand what efforts are required to undertake an engineering project. And after I left, my former colleagues also did their best to help me find a job. Later, I moved to a new workplace where I was exposed to many things other than design. I had the opportunity to go to the manufacturing plant on a business trip to see what my designs looked like in reality, and to identify any errors that occurred during the manufacturing process ； I had the opportunity to participate in the acceptance process, to see what requirements the client or third parties have for our products, and to identify any defects that might arise during the manufacturing stage ； I had the opportunity to talk directly with the owner, to understand more clearly their requirements of us, and at the same time to practice my foreign language skills, etc. . . When I was still young and able to handle such challenges, I went through something like this. It made me realize that it’s not that big of a deal after all; in the future, when I face greater challenges, I will be able to get through them. My resilience will grow stronger with each setback, and I will become more determined the more difficulties I encounter~~~
