Is there any relationship between the heat load of the reboiler and the heat load of the top condenser? Are the two equal?
The top V of the tower and the bottom V’ are certainly related to each other, as well as to the heat conditions of the feed. Different latent heats result in varying heat loads.
Thank you. Under certain operating conditions, it is required that the heat load of the reboiler and the heat load of the top condenser differ by no more than a certain value; in such cases, which factor should be considered?

Ignoring heat losses, heat is conserved at the top of the tower, the bottom of the tower, and the feed.
