There is a delicious dish called bianshi. Has everyone tried it? Where can it be found?
A common delicacy in northern China is dumplings; we people in the countryside are used to calling them ‘bianshi’! ;P;P;P;P
Flat food refers to dumplings; I’ve learned it. Here we add dumplings as well: lol
Wontons are also called dumplings; then why are they also referred to as flat foods? It must have a origin!
Chaos is not a dumpling, but it resembles one in appearance – both are pasta dishes with fillings enclosed in a wrapper
Having lived in Jiangsu for years, the wontons here are similar to those found there: they consist of a wrapper enclosing filling, with a fairly thick filling. I’m still used to eating the small wontons from my hometown; it seems they’re rare around here.
