The on-site vent pipeline of the cold high-pressure separator is DN80; then why is there also a small hole of 6 mm needed on site? What is the reason for this? Is there a basis for such a design?
Is it meant to be used as a whistle? (Just guessing)
Is it to prevent gas from escaping and creating a vacuum suction, that a gas replenishment mechanism is used?
It’s hard to tell without photos, but safety valves designed to vent to the atmosphere usually have an opening at the lowest point of the outlet pipe, with the purpose of preventing liquid buildup

This is called a lacrimal pore. It is because the vent opening faces upward, allowing rainwater to drip in; therefore, a small hole is drilled at the lowest point of the outlet to allow the rainwater to drain out.
