SNOW invests 6 billion yuan in building a coal-to-natural gas plant in Quanzhou

On September 23, ENN Group Co., Ltd. and Yongchun County in Fujian Province officially signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. The two parties will collaborate in areas such as clean energy, coal-to-natural gas production, and cultural and health tourism; the investment for the first phase of the coal-to-natural gas project alone amounts to 6 billion yuan. Leaders from Quanzhou City and Yongchun County witnessed the signing. Under the strategic cooperation framework agreement signed this time, in the field of coal-to-natural gas production, the two parties will collaborate by utilizing local coal resources and New Ao Group’s technology for converting coal into natural gas, working together to promote the clean use of coal. Meanwhile, the group plans to invest 6 billion yuan to establish a production capacity of 1.3 billion cubic meters per year of coal-to-gas, which will provide a more stable supply of clean energy for Quanzhou City and even the entire Fujian Province. In addition, SNOW Group will fully launch the natural gas utilization project for pipeline gas to reach Yongchun. Yongchun County will utilize New Ocean Group’s “Pan-Energy Network” technology to provide comprehensive clean energy solutions for its customers, improve the efficiency and utilization of clean energy in the county, facilitate the transformation and upgrading of enterprises, and ensure a stable supply of clean energy to support the economic development and environmental protection of Yongchun County.
