Are pipe butt joints with a nominal diameter of 70 mm or less for steel pressure vessels difficult to inspect using magnetic particle testing? It’s not feasible in practice, is that right? How is this represented on the design drawings?

Which connector do you mean? Is it a joint between a pipe and a cylinder, or a butt joint between pipes?
I think it should be the welds between pipes or between pipes and flanged necks.
Class D welds seem difficult to work on as well, right?
It is stated in the diagram as follows: (Under the premise that it is carbon steel,) pipe butt joints shall undergo 100% MT/PT testing in accordance with NB/T47013-2014, and must meet Grade I standards. The (stainless steel) pipe butt joints are subject to 100% PT testing in accordance with NB/T47013.5-2014, and they meet Grade I standards; that’s sufficient. They can do whatever is necessary. Did I make myself clear?
