In college, I learned two things: playing games and watching porn. What a worthless university; I really regret going to college – it was a waste of money and youth. Just thinking about college makes my heart bleed. . .
At such a young age, parents surely want them to go to school first and then play. Whether you study or not, you can always inadvertently learn some useful things. Besides, a diploma is still somewhat useful.
Universities are, on the one hand, places for acquiring knowledge, and on the other hand, they serve as a transition to society

The original poster has mixed up a few things: attending university and just passing time while in university. Attending university requires learning *many things; it aims to develop the ability to study on one’s own, and playing games also involves self-study. The learning atmosphere in a good university can influence one’s attitude and approach to studying
I don’t think it has much to do with whether the university is good or not; it depends on the friends you make, especially those with whom you spend time together, studying*, particularly boyfriends and girlfriends. A process of mutual influence, a process of mutual promotion.
The university atmosphere is still very important. For example, in one university, everyone is striving to make it into the top 500; those who are not as successful still fare well there, and one can make friends who are positive-minded. In another university where people just go through the motions, the dormitories are filled with people playing mahjong or video games – situations like the one you described are rare there, and one needs to stay clear-headed
University, a school for adults or learning*! It’s time to do some adult work! Going to university isn’t in vain; it’s important to gain knowledge and broaden one’s mind!
You should at least have a few girlfriends, right? Failing to meet even this basic requirement shows that the original poster really wasted three or four years for nothing.
