Colleagues, has anyone used an online N/C analyzer? What brand is it, and how is its performance? Thanks
I don’t understand what an N/C analyzer is? Have never heard of it
Is the poster trying to analyze the nitrogen-to-carbon ratio of urea products? Online analysis is generally not required for this; the purity of the finished urea can be calculated directly, and the results can be provided by the laboratory. If analysis is necessary, it can only be an elemental analysis of urea in a laboratory, including the analysis of carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, and oxygen. During the urea synthesis process, that is, when carbon dioxide and ammonia are combined under high pressure and high temperature, it is necessary to control the ratio of the raw materials. However, urea is generally not analyzed at that stage, as there is no urea in the reaction mixture yet; what exists is ammonium carbamate solution. This process requires controlling the ammonia/carbon ratio. During the dehydration process to form urea, this ratio cannot be determined, as there is a large amount of water in the system, and it exists in a complex dynamic equilibrium state.
