First, it depends on the steam pressure you need? If the steam pressure you need is low enough, it’s certainly possible to add a pressure reducing valve in front to control and stabilize the pressure. Otherwise, it won’t work.

Since it is used for heating, it is essential to maintain stability in pressure and temperature; large fluctuations should be avoided, as such fluctuations can lead to variations in heat supply, which in turn results in fluctuations in operating conditions. If high-pressure steam is used, it is most reasonable to select an appropriate temperature and pressure reduction to meet the operational requirements. If the steam coming in is fairly close to the requirements, it can be adjusted by limiting the flow rate, and then the usage amount can be controlled through that flow regulation.
