The unit is equipped with a negative-pressure dehydration distillation tower; during rainy days, the pressure in this tower fluctuates significantly, which leads to changes in the pressure difference between the upper and lower sections of the packing as well as changes in the tower’s temperature. This can result in an elevated water content at the bottom of the tower, causing the product to fail to meet quality standards. Insulation has been installed on the pipeline from the top of the tower to the top-of-tower condenser, which has helped improve the situation.
