From what I understand at the moment, many operations and production processes are relatively independent, which prevents production demands and targets from being closely linked to supply and distribution; 1. There seems to be no actual data available to confirm the impact of propionic acid on PTA ; 2. Some technical personnel in the PTA industry require that the iodine content be less than 10 ppb; however, a few years ago, when there was no technology for thoroughly removing iodine from acetic acid, PTA products contained iodine levels above 10 ppb, sometimes even at the ppm level.
