What exactly are the inspection items for instruments? Are they carried out by third-party agencies, or by the construction unit itself? Are there any mandatory regulatory documents? Is it different in Guangdong? Do combustible gases, toxic gases, pressure, flow meters, temperature, and so on all need to be monitored?
1. In accordance with the Metrology Law and the list of measuring instruments subject to mandatory verification, those measuring instruments that are required to undergo mandatory verification must be sent to a third-party testing institution with the appropriate qualifications for inspection; 2. Measurement instruments that are not subject to mandatory calibration shall be managed in accordance with the management manuals and documents established by the company.
All measuring instruments must have their measurement values traced back to a standard. In accordance with the Measurement Law and **relevant regulations on measurement management, measuring instruments that are used for safety protection, environmental monitoring, healthcare, and trade settlement, and are included in the list of instruments subject to mandatory inspection, must be calibrated by measurement testing institutions qualified to carry out such inspections. As for other instruments, owners can either establish their own standards for calibration or entrust qualified testing or calibration institutions to carry out these tasks.
