New question: For two 6 t/h gas-fired steam boilers, is it necessary to install blowdown expansion tanks?
As long as it is boiler blowdown, this is included in the design.

It’s not necessary; a sewage cooling tank can be built outside the boiler room – it just needs to function similarly to a sewer system! 6t/h should be a horizontal fire tube system; as long as the water quality is well managed, the amount of waste discharge will be low.

It can be directly drained into the gutter; the flow rate is very low, so it’s not worth recycling
