Hello everyone. The problem that has been plaguing us is how to extract trace amounts of mercury from natural gas; without being able to do so, analysis becomes impossible. I earnestly ask everyone to suggest good methods. Thank you!

There is a national standard available for download; there are two sampling methods, and the appropriate one should be chosen based on the conditions.
If the amount is minimal, the requirements for sampling equipment are very high; surface treatment along with heating and pressure regulation are typically employed to ensure that no mercury is lost during the sampling process.
