Thank you for your help. 1. Low viscosity at low temperatures. (Operating temperature range: -30 to 60°C) 2. Higher heat transfer coefficient and specific heat capacity. 3. Lower corrosivity
This type of operation does not require heat transfer oil; hot water and an ethylene glycol solution are sufficient
The problem is that hot ethylene glycol solutions cause significant corrosion; are there any good ways to avoid this?
I thought I was going to buy a heat transfer oil boiler
It is recommended to use low-temperature resistant heat transfer oil, with a suitable temperature range of –60°C to 330°C℃~~
Are there any brands or companies that can provide contact information? Thank you
We use heat transfer oil of a Shanghai-based company, model L-QC310. The product quality is quite good; the contact number is 021-58708588. The original poster can ask for advice~~
I still didn’t fully understand how to use it even after skipping a few years of experience; before I used methyl silicone oil, which is heat-resistant, has low volatility, high viscosity at low temperatures, and becomes unable to flow once it deteriorates. I recently changed the heat transfer oil; it has too high a volatility and can’t withstand temperatures of 250°C. However, its fluidity has increased significantly – it’s as fluid as water and not sticky at all. This type would be more suitable for your temperature range
I checked the physical property data of the heat transfer oil; at the same temperature, its dynamic viscosity is still much lower compared to that of ethylene glycol water, so it’s not very suitable. Thank you for your help
Our model used is definitely different from yours~~ We’re asking you to get in touch with the manufacturer to see if their low-temperature heat transfer oil is suitable for your process~~ Ah oh~~:L
Have you found it now? I know one that is specifically used in the pharmaceutical industry: monobenzyltoluene, which meets all your requirements. You can contact me at 18678810180 if needed.
