An integrated temperature transmitter is used for temperature measurement, and thermal oil needs to be added inside the casing. I was wondering if anyone knows how much thermal oil should be added to this casing? Five centimeters? Ten centimeters? Is it still only necessary to cover the contacts of the temperature transmitter?

The contact points of the immersion temperature transmitter must be in good condition; it’s fine to add a little more, but there is one principle to follow: enough space needs to be left for the heat transfer oil to expand, so that no leakage occurs when the temperature rises.
I don’t think too much is needed; anything more than the probe will suffice....
Is there any specification regarding the model of this heat transfer oil? What brand do you usually use?
Actually, when heating oil is added to the sleeve, it’s not possible to see exactly where it’s being poured; it relies mainly on intuition – try to add as much as possible, but avoid filling it completely. It’s almost good enough:lol
First, the structure of the temperature sensor needs to be cleared; some are small and others are a bit larger, as long as the heat transfer oil covers the sensor.
It depends on how you install them; if the temperature sensor is pointed downward, less can be used, while if it’s horizontal or installed in another way, more should be used
