ASPEN HYSYS software and ASPEN PLUS

My computer runs Windows 8, and I want to install the ASPEN HYSYS software or ASPEN PLUS. I don’t know much about these two programs. It is initially understood that the HYSYS software is mainly used in the field of oil field storage and transportation, while PLUS is used in the chemical industry. I work with ion exchange resins, which fall under the category of fine chemicals. A senior who wants to know more please introduce me to these two software programs; which version should I choose if I decide to install them? Are there any resources available for download? Or where can one buy legitimate software at affordable prices? After all, we’re ordinary people with fixed incomes; we just want to use software to do our work well without having much money.

Just install Aspen Plus
Will there be no problems installing Aspen on Win8? I couldn’t install Aspen Plus 7.1 on my home PC running Win8, but it worked fine on my work PC running Win7, whether with version 7.1 or 8.0. If you’re new to Aspen, it’s better to install version 7.1 or 7.3; the tutorial videos available online are all for older versions
