I would like to ask the experts in the LNG liquefaction area: we are planning to install an LNG liquefaction unit, and for the utility systems we intend to use those from the existing coal chemical plant. The elevation of the liquefaction unit area is the same as that of the existing facility, but the elevation of the land designated for the LNG storage tanks is nearly 4 meters lower than that of the production area. The company is considering a stepped design; rainwater in the LNG storage tank area will be pumped to another location for disposal. I would like to know how fire-fighting water should be collected in case of an accident involving the storage tanks, and whether it is necessary to have a separate accident water collection tank dedicated to these tanks.
The LNG storage tank itself should be equipped with fire barriers, diversion channels, and accident ponds – not only for rainwater. In the event of a leak from the tank, fluid will flow into the accident pond through the diversion channels. There should also be fire foam systems in place. The tank is fitted with sprinkler systems, and a sprinkler valve room is located outside the barrier. Additionally, a separate fire water tank should be installed outside the barrier as well

Storage tanks will definitely use Nanyang Duer products; such large-scale storage tanks are generally beyond the capabilities of ordinary manufacturers of low-temperature storage tanks – at least a 5,000-cubic-meter capacity tank is required
