Dear experts, I have a question. The current standard for domestically sourced National 5 gasoline requires the olefin content to be between 8 and 20. Why must the olefin level be above 8? Also, at which stage of the refining process does olefin formation occur – at atmospheric pressure, under reduced pressure, or during catalytic reforming? . . ? Thank you!
