Regarding the material used for stainless steel valves: 1. Does that mean that only the parts in contact with the medium are made of stainless steel, while other parts, such as the external screw nuts, bolt connections, handwheels, nameplates, etc., can be made of carbon steel?
Not sure. But the handwheel definitely does not need to be made of stainless steel
Everything that comes into contact with the medium must be made of stainless steel. Bolts are selected based on their diameter and the pressure involved; there are standard specifications for this
It depends on the working conditions on site; for example, if there is mild acid mist or alkaline gases present, then bolts, nuts, and even nameplates must be made of 304 material. The choice of material is primarily intended to ensure safety and ease in production and maintenance

Generally, except for the handwheel which is made of carbon steel, the rest are made of stainless steel; otherwise, over time it will look unsightly~!
Check the surrounding environment to see if there is any risk of corrosion; if not, carbon steel will be sufficient.
Stainless steel valves do not necessarily require stainless steel only in the parts that come into contact with the medium; if the air surrounding the valve contains corrosive gases, stainless steel must also be used.
