Calculation of end cap cutting dimensions

How are the cutting dimensions calculated for oval and disc-shaped end caps? Please advise
Here, we cut materials according to this dimension: D_exp = DN(mm) * 1.17 + 100； For end caps with a relatively large diameter and thick thickness, the cutting dimensions can be appropriately reduced, which helps to lower costs somewhat. These are the dimensions for spinning. Molded end caps are generally cut according to the cutting dimensions provided by the end cap manufacturer
The conventional calculation method is 1.2XDN + 2h + δ, that is, 1.2 times the nominal diameter plus 2 times the height of the straight edges, plus the wall thickness.
Not needed. The forming of end caps is divided into molding and spinning, and it is further classified into cold forming and hot forming depending on the forming temperature. None of them require lathe machining
After spinning, the head factory still needs to trim the edges.
