When calibrating the indicating part of a gas-transmission rotameter, what should be given special attention to? Why?
Special attention should be paid to only partial zeroing, because if it isn’t done during calibration, all subsequent work will be in vain!
When partial verification is performed, the conveying section must supply the rated air source pressure. Because when the indication part is verified, the four-link mechanism of the transmission part also moves accordingly. If the conveying section does not supply air pressure, its negative feedback torque becomes zero, causing the baffle to deform excessively, deteriorating its performance, and even preventing the conveying section from functioning properly. Additionally, the calibration accuracy of the indicating section is also affected.
