Let’s all discuss how to select a high-temperature oil pump with a flow rate of 10–40 m3/h and a head of around 300–400 meters, as well as which type of pump is reliable. Can BB2 meet the requirements?
High-temperature resistant multi-stage pump; of the BB2 type, with a horizontal split design and a single stage. It features high flow rate but low head pressure – not suitable
A horizontal high-speed pump can be chosen, which will meet the requirements
A head of 300 meters requires a multi-stage centrifugal pump; it depends on what type of oil you are transporting
The flow rate is not high; a high-speed pump can be used if the medium is clean.
Low flow rate, high head – or a multi-stage pump?
For a head of 300-400 meters, a plunger pump is the best choice.
A multi-stage centrifugal pump or a high-speed pump will work.
Do not use piston pumps when the temperature is high, as the lifespan of the packing seal cannot be guaranteed. Multi-stage centrifugal pumps and high-speed pumps are both good choices.
It is recommended to choose the multi-stage pump BB5 or a high-speed pump; if a high-speed pump is chosen, a vertical high-speed pump is advised, although maintenance may be more complicated
I haven’t been here for a long time. It won’t work – the medium temperature is 370°C and there’s also a slight amount of solids present. Can BB5 and a high-speed pump be used?
