On one side is the upper class, on the other side is following the current. You hate **, despise authority, and mock flattery; within you lives a noble and refined version of yourself. But whenever an opportunity arises, you immediately think hard about the relationships that can be utilized, express sincere respect to those in power, and try every means to handle it in the safest way possible. You find that at this moment, your upper-class self is closing its eyes to rest, paying no attention to anything.

They’re not as good as those above them, but they’re better than those below them, so they don’t think their situation is that serious!
