The entire group has completed the relocation from the city to the industrial park, and our company, as part of this project, is set to move there as well. The 10KV power supply for the new company will be drawn from one of the group’s distribution rooms (not the group’s 110KV main substation), as the group’s main transformers have sufficient capacity and no upgrade is necessary. In a situation like this, does my company still need to submit an application to the electricity authority? Is the electricity utility still required to be involved in the drawing review, construction, and acceptance (including preventive tests)? I hope those who understand this situation or have had similar experiences can help explain it
As long as it does not affect capacity or the metering of the main table, internal ones are not needed.
It is necessary – whether you increase or decrease the transformer, approval is required in both cases.
Don’t forget about the basic electricity cost issue related to transformers
If there is an 110KV main transformer, it is not necessary to draw a 10KV line from it solely to supply power to the new factory. Because this relates to adjustments in internal power distribution, and has nothing to do with external power supply
If there is no change in the main transformer, it is not necessary.
