I would like to know more about activated carbon steam regeneration equipment, specifically 1-cubic-meter activated carbon used in painting booths! Also, after how many times can activated carbon be regenerated before it can no longer be used? Thank you first
It’s just a set of activated carbon cartridges; steam is used for purging them during regeneration. It’s hard to say exactly how long they will last, as it mainly depends on their adsorption efficiency. It’s generally fine to replace it every 1 to 2 years.
Is the regeneration effect that good? How big is this jar usually?
For the tank, it generally depends on how much activated carbon you need to store. Many manufacturers produce such tanks; they are used in waste gas treatment equipment, and you can inquire with them. I used to have a set for removing odors, with steam used for cleaning during regeneration; the activated carbon was usually replaced only every two years.
It’s probably around 8-10 cubic meters of activated carbon. I tried searching on Baidu, but couldn’t find any information about the manufacturers of such equipment! Also, how do you handle the solvent wastewater generated after regeneration?
