How to measure the chloride ion concentration in saturated sodium chloride and sodium sulfate solutions (concentration approximately 100 g/l – 400 g/l)
Accurately take a small amount of the sample, dilute it, then take a certain volume of the diluted sample and titrate it with a standard silver nitrate solution, using potassium chromate as an indicator.
Potentiometric titration or gravimetry can both be used
For high concentrations of chloride ions, with a pH level around 1 and a concentration of 150,000 mg/m3, are there any recommended instruments for online measurement? It would be great if brand and model names could be provided. Thank you!
