The impeller of the shielded pump is broken, and there are no spare parts in the warehouse. What should be done? Urgent!!!
Can it operate without installing an inducer wheel? Will it affect dynamic balance?
Increase the liquid level in the tank and open the return line
The inducer wheel serves to prevent cavitation; if the temperature at the medium inlet is not high and the inlet is at positive pressure, an inducer wheel may not be necessary.
If your pump is designed with an impeller, it means that cavitation will occur at the pump’s suction inlet; since it is now damaged, it should in principle not be put back into operation. However, to meet your production needs, you can increase the pressure at the pump’s inlet, operate the pump for a short period of time, urgently procure spare parts, or install a bypass pipe from the outlet to the inlet!
It won’t have an impact; the inducer wheel is used to prevent cavitation and to change the direction of the flow of the liquid, thereby increasing the pump’s power
The inducer wheel prevents cavitation; if there is no cavitation due to the inducer wheel, the inlet pressure can be increased as a temporary solution. However, an inducer wheel needs to be purchased immediately. If you need one, feel free to leave me a message
