Working with instruments in a steel plant isn’t fun at all

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in automation in 2014. I worked in a factory for two years dealing with instruments, but I only managed to earn a meager amount of money – it really wasn’t enough at all. A junior employee already finds it difficult to make even 2,000 per month; and I’m a man! ! I’ve seen how popular artificial intelligence is these days, and I really want to find a job in that field. I studied automation, so maybe that’s relevant; I just don’t know what else I need to learn. Should I give up on working for state-owned enterprises? It seems like the steel industry isn’t doing well at all. I hope that experienced folks or those who share this concern can discuss it more; we can all learn something useful from that. If nothing else works, talking nonsense to vent our frustration is also fine!

Steel mills are cutting production capacity, resulting in poor profits. Sympathy.

:Oh, no way – such a big drop is really bad. Everyone’s salary has been reduced; or... I think you’d better look for another job. It’s obvious that they’re trying to force people to leave.
I’m not afraid of being laid off; I’m worried that things won’t be good enough to earn money, after all, a lot of money is needed
