For spherical tank containers, when opening them, should the upper manhole be opened first or the lower one? Why?
Let me talk nonsense for a bit.:P It depends on what’s inside, I guess Gases and liquids with a density greater than that of air, on top ； On the contrary, open below.
There’s a saying regarding manholes on towers: open the one at the top first. Does a tank necessarily require opening either the top or the bottom first? If there is any, open the one above first.

Personally, I think the manhole at the top should be opened first, followed by the one at the bottom. This is also what is done in normal operations.

One should first open the upper manhole and then the lower one, taking into account whether there is any medium accumulated at the bottom of the storage tank. Since the drain pipes and drainage nozzles of such containers are inserted into the interior of the tank body, it’s often not possible to completely empty it. By opening the upper manhole, any volatile substances can evaporate; for those that cannot evaporate, an incompatible liquid can be added to dilute them before removing the manhole
