During normal production, does the brine flow from the [brine high-level tank] to the electrolyzer? When else but now to use this passage? ------Yes, during normal production, does the alkaline solution flow from the [alkaline solution high-level tank] to the electrolyzer? When else but now to use this passage? ------------Yes
In normal production, both saltwater and alkali are fed into the electrolyzer through a sump. The sump always overflows, keeping the liquid level constant; the pressure in the electrolyzer remains stable, and there are no fluctuations in flow rate.
So when is it not necessary to use a high-temperature tank, and instead only a heat exchanger or a single heat exchanger is used?
1 Start or stop a single cell. 2. The high-level tank needs to be taken out of service for maintenance (considering the capacity of the single-tank heat exchanger, operation is only possible at low load); our plant has encountered situations where the heat exchanger with 3 plates leaked or became clogged, requiring maintenance
In a natural circulation electrolyzer, it should be impossible for brine and alkaline solutions to flow directly into the electrolyzer without using a head tank – how is pressure controlled in such a case? Who has experience with actual production like this? Please share the details What if we happen to meet one day?
Whether it is for parking or normal operation, whether it is saline or alkali, it flows through a high-level tank before reaching the electrolytic cell; this is done to ensure the appropriate pressure at the inlet of the tank
Under normal circumstances, flow occurs through these two channels; only in the event of a stoppage or trip does flow take place through the circulation pipeline
