A high-temperature pump was installed; after the seal was replaced, the pump was started up for warming up, and then the operator left. The units we are maintaining still have their bearing temperatures and vibrations being monitored at present. The bearing on the non-driving side was measured at 60°C.:funk: It reached 60°C right when it started operating, and after a while it rose to 65°C℃ ; Upon inspection, it was found that the valve for supplying cooling water to the bearing box was not open; it was quickly opened, and the temperature dropped. If we hadn’t been there at the time, I guess that bearing would have been ruined again; it’s lubricated with oil mist{and thus dies even faster}. It’s right that you stay where you are, but for the production workshop, this should be done first by the equipment technician or the equipment supervisor, not by the operators; the operators should work under the supervision of the equipment technician or supervisor. This kind of work requires prior contact with the equipment operator or equipment supervisor, and their presence is necessary; otherwise, it is impossible to communicate with the operators, unless they are operators you have worked with before, know well, and who are responsible.
