Collect information on belt conveyors

I am an engineer at a design institute. Recently, I’ve come across various types of conveying machinery, such as belt conveyors, screw conveyors, bucket elevators, and scraper conveyors. However, I have very little knowledge in this area and don’t know what to do; I’m not sure what tasks are required for design and procurement.
