According to Polaris Environmental Recruitment Network, the Everbright Dangshan Waste-to-Energy Project was invested in and constructed by China Everbright International Co., Ltd. The company focuses its investments on environmental energy, environmental water treatment, and new energy sources; it currently has over 100 projects in operation or under construction, including waste incineration for power generation, biogas power generation, biomass energy power generation, solar photovoltaic power generation, safe disposal of hazardous waste, wastewater treatment, reclaimed water reuse, surface water treatment, as well as the planning and development of environmental industry parks. The Dangshan waste-to-energy project has a total capacity to process 700 tons of domestic waste per day, and it is being constructed in two phases. The capacity of the first phase is to handle 400 tons of domestic waste per day, while the capacity of the second phase is 300 tons per day. The total investment in the project is 385 million RMB, of which 250 million RMB is allocated to the first phase. The project is located in the Dangshan Economic Development Zone and covers an area of 60 mu. For this project, a grate furnace with advanced technology and mature manufacturing processes has been selected as the furnace type to be used. Its combustion technology is proven to be reliable, with numerous application examples available in China. The flue gas purification system far exceeds national standards and meets the EU 2000 standards ； This project will be developed into a modern waste incineration power plant featuring advanced waste harmless treatment technologies and meeting environmental standards, thereby addressing the issue of household waste disposal in Dangshan County. It meets the development needs of the county and brings significant social and environmental benefits.
