To retrieve items that you deleted and emptied from the recycle bin: Steps: 1. Click “Start” – “Run”, then enter regedit to open the registry. 2. Navigate through the following paths: HKEY——LOCAL——MACHINE/SOFTWARE/microsoft/WINDOWS/CURRENTVERSION/EXPLORER/DESKTOP/NAMESPACE. Click “New” in the empty space on the left, select “Primary Key”, and name it “645FFO40——5081——101B——9F08——00AA002F954E”. Then set the value of the “Default” primary key to “Recycle Bin”, and finally exit the registry. That’s fine then. 3. The computer needs to be restarted. As long as the machine has not run disk defragmentation. The system is intact; files can be retrieved at any time.
Is the trick mentioned by the original poster suitable for XP, 7, 8, 10, or works on all systems? I’ll give it a try later
Can’t find any software similar to Findata?
If something was deleted using Shift+Delete, can it be recovered using the method suggested by the original poster?
