I seek guidance from experienced colleagues: regarding the resource requirements for non-destructive testing in order to obtain a manufacturing license for Class D pressure vessels, our organization has 2 individuals with qualifications in non-destructive testing: one person holds RT-Ⅱ and UT-Ⅱ certifications, while the other holds RT-Ⅱ and UT-Ⅰ certifications. Please advise whether our company can be responsible for the non-destructive testing of pressure vessels. If not, is it possible to hire a UT-Ⅱ technician or delegate the UT portion of the non-destructive testing work to another company? Thank you for your guidance. Thank you
No, to prepare a report on your own, you must have both RT2 and UT2 for the project; if not, everything has to be outsourced
I think the radiology report can be prepared on our own, while UT, PT, and MT require external services.
Radiographic testing can be carried out by oneself, with the reports prepared by that person. However, there are several prerequisites that must be met first: there must be an exposure chamber that meets the requirements of environmental impact assessments, a \"Radiation Safety License\" must be obtained, and operators must receive training from environmental protection authorities before getting a \"Radiation Safety Management Certificate\".
