What is the impact of water in the raw material on backwashing? I would appreciate some guidance from experts. It’s easier to understand when diesel contains particles; I’m not quite sure about the effect of water.

The filter has a high mesh count (over 150 mesh), and moisture in the raw material can affect the cleaning effect； The filter mesh has a low count (below 150 mesh), and the moisture content in the raw material does not affect the flushing effect.
The effectiveness of backwashing is determined by the pressure difference used for backwashing. When the backwashing effect in my system is poor, increasing the backwashing pressure or reducing the pressure after washing leads to a significant improvement in performance. But starting from the raw materials, such as reducing tiny impurity particles, would be more direct.
Water content has a significant impact on the catalyst; generally, water is removed before it enters the filter
