The network of the Yokogawa DCS is divided into a control net, an open net, and an information network. Let’s discuss what role each of these networks plays and in what situations they should be used!
I used to work with Yokogawa; I’ve almost forgotten about it now. I recall there being a C network and a V network. The relationship between these networks is as follows: communication below the controller takes place over the V network, such as between controllers and between controllers and NODEs； The C network is used for communication between the controller and external systems such as OPC and factory networks.
