Experts, I have a question regarding the installation of field instruments. How to properly install a metal rotameter on a vacuum material suction pipe commonly used in fine chemical industry? Pipe DN25.

You need to clarify this: your pressure and flow rate range
Vertical installation, vacuum level of -0.05 to -0.09 MPa. Flow rate of 100–1000 liters per hour, at a viscosity of 100 CP and a temperature of 160 degrees.
It is mainly vacuum negative pressure; the pressure is somewhat low, and the effect of viscosity on the measurement also needs to be taken into account. Personally, I don’t think a rotor is necessarily the right choice; it can be tried out, but my main concern is that the float might vibrate or cause throttling issues. (I work on rotors with a metallic appearance. Please try the rotor made of metal tube later and let me know if it works well; this will also help me gain experience. As people in our instrumentation field, we have little contact with the field itself.)
The metal rotameter didn’t work well after it was installed, so it was removed. I need help determining which flow meter is suitable
What pump are you using? If there are no impurities, use a turbine
Could you tell me what the problems are with the metal rotor? Does it mean that the pointer swings up and down and cannot operate stably, or is the flow rate not high enough? It seems that the negative pressure is a bit low; using a type with lower pressure loss should solve this issue. Alternatively, one could choose a metal rotor with a DN15 diameter, as the pressure loss for a 25-mm diameter rotor is higher than that of a 15-mm one. If another type of flow meter is used, I think vortex flow meters should work, as long as there is no vibration in the pipeline.
