I’ve seen a wet-process method for zinc extraction; after leaching, the solution contains high levels of iron, fluorine, and chlorine. The treatment process involves removing iron first, followed by removing fluorine and chlorine, and then purifying the solution. The temperature required for iron removal is around 60–70°C; after that, pressure filtration is carried out. To remove fluorine and chlorine from the liquid after iron removal, the temperature needs to be reduced to 45°C. My question is: since no cooling equipment was visible at that time, can the liquid with iron removed actually drop in temperature from 70°C to 45°C during the processes of pressure filtration, storage in tanks, and transportation? Can you guarantee it?
De-fluorinate and de-chlorinate after iron removal? May I ask about the defluorochlorination process?
After iron removal in this process, copper, cadmium, cobalt, etc. are not purified directly; instead, fluorine and chlorine are removed first – with chlorine being the main substance to be removed. Wet methods are used for chlorine removal, but it is not clear exactly which specific wet method is employed. I would appreciate it if everyone could discuss this matter together!
The process includes a defluorochlorination step, and it should be used for zinc smelting from sub-zinc oxide raw materials. Wet defluorochlorination? That technique? The temperature of the purified zinc sulfate liquid is not appropriate; 70 for iron removal, 45 for chlorine removal, and 55–60 degrees is required for zinc powder purification. If the temperature drops, it needs to be raised again – this process isn’t suitable.

This is also what I would like to ask for help with. Please take another close look at my post – I didn’t see any cooling equipment, which is why I’m asking everyone here whether it’s feasible from a technical perspective. So, there really are no cooling devices. Also, there are no process diagrams either; if there were such diagrams, I wouldn’t need to ask for help from everyone
