In the chlorate decomposition process used in conjunction with ion membrane electrolyzers, should the heat exchanger material be titanium or a titanium-palladium alloy? I would appreciate some guidance from those who are experienced in this area; thank you!
Chloride ions are corrosive to titanium!

Where are you using your titanium tubes? Also, what material is used for the pipes in your dual-salt system?
The pipeline material for the disalt form is steel lined with low-calcium magnesium glue, while titanium pipes are used after adding brackish water
How is the performance of the di-salt pipes at present? Also, is your company located in the south or the north? What’s the temperature difference at the company in cold weather?
As a precaution, a titanium-palladium alloy is used, but it’s a bit more expensive. We used titanium 2 and it leaked.
